Check This Out: Bistecca alla Fiorentina

Have you ever had a florentine steak? If not let me enlighten you. It is a 2 pound, at least, porterhouse with bone steak grilled over a wood fire and seasoned with salt and olive oil. The florentine bistecca is served very rare and often shared by 2 people. Honestly, the one I had could have been shared with 4 people.

So check this out, you can watch the chefs at L'Antica Locanda di Sesto restaurant in Lucca,Tuscany cooking florentine steaks on their LIVE kitchen grill cam! You can see just how big those steaks really are while they are being cooked to perfection for someone's dinner. But you can check in on kitchen cam at anytime because it's always on. I took a peek at it this morning and saw the morning cleaning crew.
Click HERE to see the live version for yourself. *Note, don't forget the time difference from where you are. Breakfast time for you might be steak grilling time for Italy

Hi. Yes, I've had Florentine steaks and have never managed to finish one! Love them, though.
