Don't EVER Get in Trouble in Italy

In another insane move (see Amanda Knox), Italian courts convicted seven scientists of manslaughter (yes MANSLAUGHTER) today for failing to adequately warn citizens before an 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit  L'Aquila, Italy in 2009, killing 308 people and destroying much of the city.  And in other news, a tarot card reader wrongly predicted that I would get the last job that I applied for, giving me false hope. Lock them up and throw away the key!

Sorry that your job didn't pan out even though the psychic said otherwise. What kind of industry are you looking to get into? Fashion, Styling? I'm so curious! :)

Wow! That's a very harsh penalty for the scientists. I feel sorry for anybody who was a part of that tragedy.

Oh no, so sad to hear this this awful news. For Italian court to convict the 7 scientists is not at all justifiable. Yes, they may have issued a misleading announcement but I bet they have just based their conclusion on the results of their studies that is why they failed to warn the public of the coming earthquake. The natural tragedies sometimes work like a thief.

No matter how advanced the technology you are using, no matter how skillful and smart you are on predicting upcoming events like earthquake, you can’t control what will be happening in the future.

My name is Joe Pinzone and I'm casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We'd love to film in Italy and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The expats on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. They must also speak English fluently and can be buyers or renters for their homes. If you'd like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at joepinzone@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
